What is a T/A WS7?

ws7 on second gens got you rear disc brakes if i remember correctly. on 4th gens its an aftermarket package from suncoast (again i believe) that consists of a ram air hood and badges. its meant to make it look like a regular WS6 but without being "rice".

On a 98-02 car it was bascially a sticker. Many people placed WS7 on non-WS6 cars after putting an ram air hood on it.
A few of us have WS7 emblems that look exactly like the WS6 one.
Case in point:
It's amusing to here people try to "figure" it out. I've even had people argue with me that is was a real option package. My reply.. "It's just a sticker"

Actually, the WS7 was a dealer option hood package put together by SCC.....
It wasn't till later that folks who just put hoods on their cars started using the logo cause of all the WS6 whiners lol
Back in 98, my dealer wasn't able to get a WS6 cause of the GM strike, so they opted to take a regular T/A and send it out to SCC for their WS7 conversion, which included an SCC Ram Air hood, K&N Filter and LT1 Styled Ram Air Filterbox.....
Due to legal reasons, SCC wasn't allowed to add the Ram Air decals to the hood, so they left them in the glove compartment along with a nasty lookin WS7 decal....
In late August of 98, when the strike was over, my dealer needed to make room for the 99's that were due in the next week, so I got a killer deal on the WS7
I never added the WS7 decal, but later ordered a pair of badges
So no, it wasn't factory, but a dealer option, kinda like a Sevan Series or Black Bird T/A, only not as special lol
