Default LOB Badge

I was wondering would it be posing to put a LOB on a 98 formula...cause technically the body style is the last of the breed?
Thanks for the input

I personally think they should be for the 02's. But it does say Last Of The Breed 1967-2002. So I guess the badge covers all of the birds for the fact that they are no longer made.

Last of the Breed and the dates - 1967-2002, are 2 seperate things. Indeed they really ought to be on 2002s only as only they are the last of the breed. The 98-01's can get away with it though because it's so difficult to tell them apart. lol

I think 67-02 can wear the badge. As long as they are still on the road running and alive, they are....."The Last of the Breed"

this always comes up, every few weeks. and then so does someone putting a ss/ws6 hood on a non-ss/ws6 car. well, i have the lotb badge, and im also getting a new hood too. its about what you think, not anyone else.

most people ask me about my car, look it over, then compliment me. not ask me if its an 02, and then yell at me about the badge when i say no. it honestly just looks damn good, and im sorry i waited so long to put it on.

my badge clearly says both... so it would seem they are one in the same. since the firebird has been discontinued, all birds still around are the last of the breed...

The badge is only for 02 cars being that they are the last of the breed meaning since they wre made in 2002 and no more were made after that they truley are the last . not that any birds out there still on the street are last of the breed because in fact any cars made between 67-01 were not the last cause after each year there was one more made. the 1967-2002 on the badge is like if it were on a tombstone,,,, but any case it does look good on the car so if you like it wear it..

I am not saying one way or another as to whether or not a non 2002 'Bird can/should "wear" the badge, but on the paperwork that comes with the LOB "kit" it specifically says for the 2002 Firebirds.........just FYI.

I may put one somewhere on my '69, since it was the last of the 1st gens,1st year of the T/A,and has the last year T/A LS1 motor in it as well.
