I would look for someone to email. Maybe a "contact us" section? I don't have a WS6, so I've not tried contacting them.

The addy is maketing@ascglobal.com
Be warned it takes a looooooooooooooooooooong time( 4 months) for them to get back with the information, and this was back in 02, so I would expect a long wait for an answer

You meant to type marketing@ascglobal.com correct?

If contact is made, and there is a documented process on getting the build info please let me know. I'll make the info a sticky at the top of the forum. I've seen a lot of posts on this subject, so it would be nice to have something that is easily accessible.

Yes it' supposed to be marketing
This was in 02, and I was told that the lady that did the research is no longer with ASC, so that might delay the return of information.
I emailed her with my VIN, and requested my build #, she responded (after about 4 months) with the build number and date of completion, it was an easy procedure, aside from the wait

02LS1WS6, I guess you got a response from them judging from the build number in your sig?

Was the above method still correct for finding out the ASC build number?

There's an exact person you can contact now. I've listed his email address here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/pontiac-firebird-1967-2002/440546-miscellaneous-fourth-gen-bird-info-read-before-posting-questions.html
