Wife and I drove with it and a couple others, 1 was a gold Pontiac Performance factory R/A T/A , a couple hundred miles one day on the 2000 Power Tour....looks really neat in person. They just made a wagon hatch to go in place of the normal one.

By the way, as part of our involvement, Year One is putting together a deal to offer the Kammback hatches to the public. We don’t have the final details worked out yet, but the plan is to offer the hatch setup as a complete kit, trimmed in the appropriate interior color to match the factory offerings. The kits will fit any 1993-present Firebird or Trans Am, but some bodywork and paint will be necessary to install it. Sorry, Camaro owners, due to the differences in taillight design between the Chevy and the Poncho, it won’t fit your cars. But who knows, if the Pontiac version is a hit, we may expand the program to include Camaros at some point. Let us know what you think.

it's tight because it is one of a kind, if it goes into production i can see the thugs that pimp their birds with 2 inch body lifts, 24's, and 1000lb stereo systems pimping one of those. If I were rich and had a ton of money to screw around with I would do it just to **** those Magnum owners off who think their cars are the sh*t. Won't be thinking that after getting stomped by an LT1/LS1 Station Wagon!

Love the pistol grip w/ line lock Hurst Shifter, didn't think they had any aftermarket shifters for 4L60E's? I've been looking for a shifter but haven't been able to find any.
Oh and the wagon ain't my cup of tea but if you like it all the more power to ya.

Yea I've seen that concept car floating around for a while now. Its a cool idea.....I think its a bit ugly...but would help out by giving a bit more room to these cars Cool concept though.

2 hours 49 minutes and zero bids....doesn't look like it's gonna sell
Here are all three Kammback 'birds that have been built. I've seen all three of them at the Trans Am Nationals:
1) 1979 Trans Am Kammback (Pontiac display at 2002 T/A Nats--first built in '78 / updated to '79 nose)
2) 1986 GTA Kammback (Pontiac display at 2005 T/A Nats)
3) 2000 Hurst Hauler (Pontiac display at 2002 T/A Nats)
(yep, I saw them out of order so to speak)
