Default Last of Breed emblems..are they stock?

Those last of the Breed emblems--I have seen them on a few cars, but not all 2002. Was that a stock option? Or just a Collectors Edition thing?

I am considering those for mine..

Ya know what, I am not sure but my 2002 didn't come with it either. I've seen some that do though. For the price of the badges I decided not too but on your Sunset Orange Metallic Trans Am, I think it would contrast very nicely.

they were a dealer option. not every dealer gave it out though. and i believe it was available on firebirds, not trans ams. i bought a LOTB kit off ebay. 2 emblems, key fob, birth certificate. none of which mention trans am, only firebird.

as stated above, it was a package you could get from the dealer or directly from MDG Global. MDG is the company that made the LOTB badge package. http://www.mdgglobal.com/
Dealers could get them from MDG for around $60 and charge you that or whatever they wanted. Direct from MDG they were $100 for the whole package.
The package was for ANY 2002 Firebird. Remember even a Trans Am and a Formula are STILL a Firebird.

In the years close after 2002, many others bought the package and put it on the 1998-2001 year models too.

While I was looking at the MDG site I found they have a place that still sells the LOTB kit.

So to answer your question they are not a GM option, it was an aftermarket company...

I wonder if these would look good on NBM.

It was a GM option from the dealer, no RPO for it though. Similar to the graphics kits a Saturn dealer would put on a new Saturn for example.
