Maybe it's because I live in Canada and we have thousands of miles of empty roads, but I wouldn't be doing that with so many cars around. Understandably, Kuwait is much more crowded...

I agree that by western standards, going that fast on a road with other cars is downright negilent. And with a passenger, no less.

However, this being Kuwait, I'm not surprised. Having been there, I noticed that human life is not respected in the same way over there for some reason.

If you wanna experience something _really_ crazy/dangerous/stupid, head out in the Kuwaiti desert to one of their booze-parties (alcohol is not allowed in Kuwait, so they go into the desert to drink/party).
Imagine a bunch of grown men, each of them with a car and most of them with guns, drinking like they're a bunch of 15-year-olds. Now, that's dangerous..

looooool guys , we don't have empty roads and kuwait is so so so small , USA very big ;/ , personally, I do not respect the law and many kuwaiti guys , lool kuwait police is .... , many times i did some action with the police and i skiped from them haha , second thing : in kuwait you are not free like USA most things are not allowed

In the u.s is more strict than all the countries I’ve traveled in my life (except the moon)
And if you get caught in the U.S man you will be soo sorry you ever had a driving license.

I can't saw that I haven't gone fast in my car (I open mine up on empty roads), but I know if you passed me like that with the family in there the folks at the hospital would have a hard time removing the car from your ***.
