Oddly I found a MRM a while back with that option color, believe an '01 6spd. I don't think any interior (aside from the rare factory red) can top this one for 4th gens as far as factory non SE orders go.

Wonder if it's still around..

EDIT: It's not. Damn I'd have traded my T/A for that one in a heartbeat in hindsight. :/ Oh well.

Yeah i'd probably agree.. Its a nice looking interior: the 'classy' look of tan w/ the hassle of keepin carpets clean etc. I was set on finding an SOM bird w/ a tan interior at first, but then came to my sense and went with ebony

hey i have a question... i am new to the whole firebird/trans am/ camaro world. i just bought a 94 firebird. its a pretty clean car. LT 1 6 speed. a previous owner has put on some black aftermarket door panels. they look to be made of fiberglass? anyways i do not like them and want to go back with stock door panels. does anyone know what years and what cars would be the EXACT color and style that would be correct for a 1994 firebird with dark gray interior??

In '94, 4 grey interiors were available on Firebirds, 2 cloth, 2 leather, lighter "Graphite" or darker "Pewter".

RPOs for each are:

Graphite cloth: 12B or 12D
Pewter cloth: 14B or 14D
Graphite leather: 122 or 123
Pewter leather: 142 or 143

Check the RPO decal in your glovebox to see what the car came with, then get door panels to match.

I have an 87 trans am and i cant seem to find any breakdown on my VIN for the car...i belive it was an orginal 305 w/ 5 speed but i wanna make sure and it also has the digital dash...any1 know if its possible to find any info on this?

Ok so some say the PHS isnt worth the money. So I sure could use some help to figure something out. I want to try and determine how many 02 WS6 cars are exactly like mine....is this possible?

My car is a 02 NBM WS6 T-Top car. M6 Trans, Ebony leather. The build date on the sticker in the door is 08/02.... So last month of production for sure, but just how late is it actually? Could it be in the last 100? How can I find that out? I also have what seems to be a rare RPO code for California built cars...YF5? I would also like to know the date and number of when my car received the WS6 conversion. Can anyone help please? I have also listed all of my RPO codes below.

There were at least 485 '02 NBM WS6s built w/ M6. Not sure how many had ebony interiors. This is from CompNine's database, which isn't complete for the '02 MY and no longer provides free access to the RPO combination filter feature they used to have.

Since one of the RPOs is for the production week, if you looked for an exact match of ALL RPOs, you'll probably find 1 or 2 other cars exactly like yours. But it appears from your cut-n-paste that CompNine wasn't coughing up that info for your car. Their site used to let you uncheck the RPOs that didn't really matter WRT "rarity" and keep only those that do (engine, trans, color, interior, etc.) and it would calculate rarity on just those selected RPOs. But apparently their GUI doesn't do that anymore.

I PM'd a guy on here who said he could get the (ASC?) number for our cars and havent heard back.....I hope he is still able to get the info. If not is there another source? Thanks!

I've got your PM but there are about 20 others that I have. I still have to get them all together and in order by year and VIN before I send it to the source. Unfortunally I work for the railroad and with my schedule I don't have much spare time. I'm shooting for Wednesday to have the list sent out and should have the info back in a couple weeks.

How can I tell if my car came with 3.23 or 3.42 gears? I've heard of both being stock and would like to know which I have. It's a 99 WS6

If you have a stock vehicle, look for the RPO codes on the door or in the glove box. GU2 = 2.73, GU5 = 3.23 and GU6 = 3.42.

If your WS6 has a M6, it will have 3.42 gears (all M6 f-bodys except the '93s have 3.42 gears). If it's an A4, it will have 3.23s (which was a "mandatory option" for A4 equipped WS6s over the 2.73 that was standard on A4 cars otherwise).

You can call your local GM dealership parts department. Give them the last 8 of your VIN and they can tell you if you have RPO code WS6 or not. Hopefully you do

I was just looking at the numbers you posted on the 96 Formula ws6 that were silver. i have one in silver that has 115k miles and runs strong! It needs paint restoration but has almost perfect interior. would be a great car for someone wanting to restore one. $3500 if anyone is interested let me know. located in north carolina.
