UNK = Unknown. My RPO code tables don't show what B8X means either. Probably something obscure and non-important, sometimes these things show up on the build list. Also, there are only 2 other cars built EXACTLY like yours down to the last RPO code (including those obscure and non-important ones). That happens quite often. If you notice, that page will give you the option of un-checking the RPO codes that don't really count towards "rarity" and keep only the ones typically considered towards rarity (engine, trans, exterior color, interior trim, wheels). It should re-calculate the rarity based on the remaining checked RPOs.

From CompNine, which appears to be missing ~17 TA 'verts from their count, but the only source I have for a breakdown by RPO:
Total 2000 T/A 'Verts: 1791 (another source shows 1808)
w/ 11U Pewter: 228
w/ 192/193 Ebony Leather: 1349
w/ 11U & 192/193: 228 (all Pewter T/A 'verts had ebony leather)

It was a 75th anniversary edition for PONTIAC's 75th anniversary.

Per CompNine, a total of 472 2001 Firebirds had the 75th anniversary package (RPO 1SX):
- 239 Firebird Coupes
- 231 Formula Coupes (5 of these were Firehawks; 5 M6s and 1 A4)
- 2 Trans Am Coupes

Anyone know just how rare the Maroon (MMM / Medium Red Metallic) paint is (U9913) on Trans Ams, 1993-1997 (4.0 Gen) Trans Ams? As in, rough total production numbers (even firebirds total prod. #'s)? Just wanted to know out of curiosity, as I keep hearing from F-body owners how they like it, and had several who said they didn't think it was original (yes, some of my handiwork isn't ... i.e. painting the "Trans Am" and "Pontiac" lettering, painting the bird on the fender, etc., but last I checked, the maroon was an OEM color).

Check the link in my sig. Medium Patriot Red Metallic, RPO 71U, was available on Firebirds from '93-'95. Never heard of "Maroon Medium Red Metallic" on Firebirds. There was a Maple Red Metallic (44U) available from '00-'02 (and 14 pilot Firebirds were built in '99 with it), Chevy called this color Monterey Maroon Metallic. The only other reds on 4th gen Firebirds were Bright Red (81U) and Red Orange Metallic (96U) (Chevy called this Cyanne Red Metallic on Camaros).

BTW, "U9913" is not an RPO code. Where did you get that?

Well, id like to start my search for an SOM WS6. But before i do, id like to get some more information on them such as production numbers and the RPO codes in the door jamb to make sure if its the original color exterior and interior.

Id like to find an '01-'02 WS6 6-spd, with tan interior with low to mid miles preferrably stock or with very little mods. I have one of those brochures that came from the dealer from back in the day with all the otions and stuff, and theres too different tan colors; taupe and camel accent.

I was hoping you guys could help me out by posting up some pics so i could see the difference between the too, and more importantly too know if my dream combination even exists, lol. (ive never even seen an som bird with tan interior, only ebony.)

Heres pics of one (w/ 35,000 miles) I was looking at getting a few months ago.. I was pretty much set on getting one with tan interior, but had an epiphany one day and ended up going with black.. Haven't regretted it one bit so far.

317 built in 2001, 187 6spd
382 built in 2002, 221 6spd... I'm not sure of the exact number each yr w/ tan interior

I have the Taupe in my SOM and it's the lighter of the two. Similar to Parchment in the Mustangs.

Best pic I have of the interior. I mainly wanted Taupe because black is everywhere.
