ok this week end is 0% foir 72 months so i am going to get one.
so far the dealer has come down the 31,160. and that was over the phone. if i take the 0 i get no rebates. so how low can i really go beyond that number. i was thinking of offereing 30,000 with tinted windows. but idk.
oh other nice thing is 1800 in gm points fromt my gm car.
but please list what you paid for car. before tax and title. and before rebates.
thanks

I would think that the 0 APR is worth a lot more than the rebates but the deal you are talking about has been going on for awhile and is pretty standard.
Depends on the dealership how much they will go down.
I would ask to see the invoice price and try to argue with them from there.
Then at the last second throw in the 1000 gm loyality.

Mine was $29,800 before rebates. I took the rebates. With $10k down the 0% wasn't worth it.
They told me that they didn't do GM loyalty right now because I asked since I have the T/A.

I got gm bucks from my GM card, they still accept that I hope.
I love the G8, but absolutely hate car payments and don't have 30K laying around.
so you got your car for about 19,800? if so, thats AWESOME.

then at 6 percent interest over 6 years (compare years to years) is 4708.80
that plus the start price is 30,868.80 / by 72 months = 428.73
and 31,160 / 72 (0%) = 432.77
so if i dont get the 0% loan i am still in the good. just need to get them down a little more. i would love to get them down to 30,000

well i am at 31,160 right now. and if i do rebates i get 3500 off. plus 1000 gm loyal. plus 500 dealer cash. that is 26,160
then at 6 percent interest over 6 years (compare years to years) is 4708.80
that plus the start price is 30,868.80 / by 72 months = 428.73

With no APR on a 6 year loan that it a ton off so the higher price you are paying on the car can be misleading.
The most ideal situation is to pay for things in cash but obviously few people can do that.

I believe taking the 0 apr is better than the rebates if you aren't going to put a lot down.
Correct me if wrong.

Mine has premium and sport packages with no sunroof.
The 0% is only for 5 years but there is a 2.9% for 6 years. My interest rate is 5.74% so I'm still sitting alright.
I'm still confused about the loyalty thing though...

I think the GM 0 APR loan was available in 5 or 6 years.

with 0% minus a down payment is similar to paying cash. you can make interest on your money instead of paying it.

Exactly why I just bought one with 0 percent for 72 months. Sure I could put 10k down and have a lower payment to instead of putting 5k down , but even if I just put that extra 5k in a money market or low yielding cd i will make more from it then putting it into the car right now. Its hard to resist even a six year loan when it's 0% and you have protection on your trade in value through gm etc..
I should be getting it tomorrow "White Hot GT" and premium package. Paid 32k and change with tax didn't have a gm for 1000 loyalty cash and took 0% for 72.

I thought the only 0% they had was for 60 months. The 2.9% was for 72. But I traded in a car and did and an in and out and my girlfriend bought it for $7300. So I will not have to pay sales tax on that.
But I only paid $2700 out of pocket really.
