was wondering if you guys could share all of the GM cars that share the plateform as the G8. gotta convince someone that just because Pontiac is going under, that parts will be redily available, and that the warante will be covered.

Yes, G8 and Camaro are both Zeta. I really hope that some of the aftermarket Camaro suspension parts will work on the G8. Obviously not all of them will, but I really hope at least some will.
The warranty will be covered as long as GM doesn't go down. This is true for all GM brands that are going away, not just Pontiac, and not just the G8. Parts are available from Holden, but they don't have much inventory of them in the US, so unfortunately many of them take a while to ship over here.

Just the Camaro, which is quite a bit different than the G8 though it was made out of it by Holden in Australia.
Pontiac parts and service aren't going anywhere when the signs are taken down.

Personally, I am wanting to know about Zeta II. There's a rumor that it'll be a bit smaller, more fuel efficient, and will be in the 2013 Holden Commodore. Don't know if this is true. I don't know if we'll even get that car here if it is :/ Well, it's a ways off, gotta just stay happy with my G8, at least for now. (I do really love it, though)

There won't be any more rebadged Holden cars for the US.
The G8 is also a unique vehicle, the only parts it shares with American GM vehicles is the powertrain. Everything else is Australian and parts are generally expensive and can take a few weeks to get.
