Default Kooks 1 7/8" install, nice

Just got my car back from Speedtweekerz and it sounds good. The install took about 2.5 hours total. They fit perfect and no CEL's so far. Jim didn't think there would be a problem as they didn't remove the rear o2's. The car feels stronger in the mid range for sure. I just did a 93 retune on it and have the battery disconneded to relearn the new tune. We'll see what happens after I get back out and the rain quits. I hope to get out this weekend for a few dyno pulls to see what the AFR's are now.

The Kooks midtubes came with their own hiflow cats. I think install and all was about $925.00.

The cats are bolted up right to the header. So you still retain the factory mid pipe as well as general o2 locations (no extensions needed)

Daymn! That's a bargain compared to F-Body headers!

Remember, there mids and not long tubes. The long tubes are definetly more money. I didn't want to delete the cats, won't pass inspection in Missouri without them. These are very hi flowing, so, really no restrictions whatsoever. These stock motors need some restriction to not loose the torque. I'm very happy with them and speedtweekerz job they did.

Always nice to have a positive experience with a shop, you'll have to post vids once you're back on the road

Its been on the road, runs great and I'll take it to the track this Friday to see if it actually boosted the performance any. It feels like it to me, we are also going to do some dyno pulls this week sometime. I don't have a video camera to post those, but, I'll give the updates as they occur.
