I traded in my wife's GTO and got her this. Orange 2008 G8GT. Im thinking about taking it from her, because I love driving this thing! Anyone, what's the name of the orange color?

Nice looking G8, it's really clean. The color is Ignition Orange Metallic. It's got the sport package which includes metal pedals, 19" machine-faced aluminum wheels, summer performance tires and a slightly smaller diameter, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel.

I paid 22K and its got 40K miles on it. Thats pretty fair right? Also, how many were made in that color if anyone knows? I have never ever seen another one this color in person or for sale anywhere near me.

My wife likes driving mine and wants one for herself too. Hopefully some day I'll be able to get her one. She would probably be happy with the V6 since she's not a speed demon like me.

Nice find. IOM is one of my favorite colors on the G8. Any mods planned for it? A tune will really wake it up. The factory trans settings are very lazy.

She hasnt driven it yet, when we went to look at it I drove, and she is out of town right now so... She probably wont care, she says it needs to be a little louder anyways so I gotta get an axle back at least and a CAI/tune "Helps Mileage" lol

Sounds like you should be able to pull it off then. I could never buy a car for my wife without her driving it. If there was something she didn't like about it I'd never hear the end of it.

She had a 6 cyl G8 from the dealer as a loaner while they fixed a warranty thing on the Goat and couldn't say enough about how much she liked it better.

But yeah I see what you're saying we bought the GTO and a week later she was like "I don't like the color."

I agree, really brings out the lines of the car and pops out especially with the window tint. I think black wheels will look even better on it

Congrats on the car, and best color for sure on the G8, of course I'm a bit biased. About $1200 and you'll have a grocery getter that will run mid to high 12's all day.

Thats the color I want too, did you buy this from a dealer in Gainesville? I saw it on-line and thought it was a very good price. The IOM G8s seem to be pretty rare and is just an awesome color.
