Default How Much Was Your G8 GT?

Thinking of getting a G8 GT for my wife next month hopefully. Im curious to know how much your G8 GT came out to be after after all taxes, fees, interests, etc.
Post up your model and price if you dont mind.
Thanks,
Jesse

G8 GT's are very scarce right now. For some insane reason, they built 70% of 2008 G8's as V6 and only 30% GT. We won't get anymore GT's until the 09's hit in Sept. There are only 38 GT's within a 200 mile radius of Dallas.

That's weird. One of my local dealers has a red one in stock. Another has had a red one for a few months that has not sold. I just drove by today and they got an Orange one in as well. I have not stopped in to either dealer to see if they are charging over MSRP or not which is why I am assuming the cars are just sitting on the lot.

I have yet to see another one on the road myself. The one I purchased was only the 2nd GT that they had this year.

i barely see any on the road, but I work at Alamo National car rental, and we have a ton. Everyday on the lot we have at least 10-20 of the v-6s floating around and about 5-10 GTs floating around. Thats not including the ones actually out on rent or in other states. If your in the Chicago area or any other place for that matter and you see at G8, look at the windows for a sticker that looks like a bar code...Most likely out car...

Stopped by the GM dealer to pick up my wife's Acadia (rack & pinion under warranty), they had several G8, salesman is nearby, told him I have never paid MSRP for any GM cars only invoice, he reply we don't sell cars at invoice, never had. After a while looking around at the cars he gets back to me with this question: would you buy this car TODAY if I sell it for invoice?
With this economy right now you can get the price you want to pay not what is written in black.

I'm suprised to hear that everyone is having problems finding them...I live in Bangor, ME not exactly the hub of civilization!!! Varneys GMC/Pontiac has 3 in stock, Black Red and Silver I believe. Prices are around 30-32 but for Maine I'm suprised we have that many and there aren't in the local hubs. Also I'm in the Staunton area of Virginia and I've noticed a couple down between Richmond and Williamsburg areas.

I've seen two in Pensacola. It's a shithole, so I'm surprised there are any around.

But I just searched, 19 are available at the four Pontiac dealerships within 50 miles of here. Of those, only 6 are GTs.

I know I've seen 2 on the west side of Atlanta. 1 White GT in Smyrna and 1 Red GT in Hiram. They look damn good. I really liked the White GT. I think it had the premium package with 19" wheels.

One of the lots near me has 2 G8 GTs and one V6 version. The GTs are red and white and the V6 is gray. The sticker prices didn't appear to have any dealer charges attached to them. While they claim to have sold a few G8 GTs so far I have yet to see one on the road and I have been looking pretty hard.

invoice on a G8 GT is like 2,000 so your negotiated discount sucks, but you got it when it had rebates and you had good gm credit card points. thats good

BTW we have a 5 G8 GTs
