New Era Non DOD cam package results inside with sound clip .
This kit includes the folowing :
Custom Cam (LSX 3 bolt core)
valve springs
Chromoly pushrods
LS7 cam gear
05-06 LS2 cam tensioner
LS7 lifters
Gen 4 lifter trays
New MLS GM head gaskets
ARP head bolts
Gen 4 Valley cover
A custom tune is highly reccomended , and testing was done with stock torque convertor , but a higher stall torque convertor is also reccomended , but not necessary , and we also reccomend a long tube header system . This kit wil be available by the end of the week next week , if you would like to preorder a cam package you may do so , pricing is $1249 plus shipping for everything . Doing just this cam on our project G8 car picked up 54 rwhp , this is a fairly mild cam , and with the right tuning it is near stock drivability ! Here is the dyno graph and sound clip :

"It is our SSHT cam , an Ed Curtis design , 228/232 around .600 lift 111 lsa . The other cam we do will be a wider spread duration with more lsa ."
Why such a narrow lsa? Does the DOD prefer a narrower lsa? I would like to see that same cam with a 114-116 lsa.
