my dad has an 04 gto that he wants to put custom wheels on. I had some black 17x9.5 ZR1 wheels on my WS6 that i was going to give him but they were too wide. What is a good size wheel and tire combo for a 04 GTO

I had 275 Nittos on the stock wheels with no mods needed.
Also ran 275 Toyo's on my 9" Drift R's with no mods needed. Now running BFG KDW 265's on the same Drift R's, also without mods needed. The BFG's are actually wider than the Toyo's they replaced.
17x9 WS6 or SS wheels fit great in the back. They need to be shortened to work in the front though. I had my old WS6 wheels on the back of mine with 275 Nittos and they were fine.

I was considering putting a set of Z06 motorsports staggered set on mine but I haven't seen anyone with them yet... Anyone know of someone with these and/or maybe some pics... They are the black/polished lip w/ rivets... I was wanting to do the 17/18 combo but wasn't sure about the widths... I'm used to f-bodies so this is greek to me... Thanks for any help...
