Default Ported my tb now it stalls out

On my 05 I ported the tb, did the half shaft now the car goes into safe mode and after messing with it some more it now just stalls out. I did not touch the area around the blade. It seems like the blade its self is getting stuck or something but with this stupid electric tb I can't just rev it from the tb to mess with it before it stalls. Any ideas? I've had this thing out 5-6 times now messing with the blade and still nothing.

Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to reset the pcm and clean the maf with some spray carb cleaner. With the stalling it sounds like you have an air leak in the intake tubing or tb area, check and tighten all the connections.

Ok I ventured out man it half way to autozone before safety mode kicked in. These are the two codes I got P1516 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance, and p2101 The commanded throttle position is compared to the actual throttle position based on accelerator pedal position (APP) and possibly other limiting factors. Both values should be within a calibrated range of each other. The engine control module (ECM) continuously monitors the commanded and actual throttle positions. This DTC sets if the values are greater than the calibrated range.

Now what, I've taken the blade out probably 2 dozen times now to be sure its was not binding or hanging, its safe to say its not. So now im thinking something is up with the TAC. I assume thats the thing that is attacted to the side of the TB? Can you just replace that?

05-06 blades also tip slightly backwards towards the engine to adjust idle unlike cable driven. If there is too much material taken out of the bottom or top close to the blade air will sneak through and the TB basically flips back and forth a hundred times a min. trying to get the idle into spec.

Both local porters I know both ruined their first LS2 TBs finding this out the hard way.

I offer CNC throttle body porting, which provides excellent airflow, while maintaining proper function, without the problems you mentioned.

Feel free to contact me if I can be of help.

This is a good guy right here, I just got one of his fuel systems for my GTO and not only is it awesome but the customer service is out of this world. The guy is at his shop at all hours of the day and night ready to answer questions.
