h-deeper sound, most people like the sound more, sort of a muscle car sound more.
x-slightly higher gains, more exotic sound.
I'd personally just ditch the slp's for a single chamber flowmaster or something like spiral flows

No way you're getting 10hp from switching from an H to an X pipe.

To the OP.. its just personal preference really. The gains are minimal with either. The H-pipe I think sounds a little deeper like someone already said.

Supposedly the H will help more with low end, the X with high end... but like I said, you won't notice any changes with either other than sound. I have an H pipe and I couldn't be happier.

i seen gains of 6 to 10 hp through the powerband, and as i wrote in my post i didn't just swap h-pipe to x-pipe i installed a cat-back.i also retuned the car when i installed the cat-back,so sure afew hp could be from me becoming better at tuning.so where do u think the rest the hp gains came from then.in remember my car is far from stock
