Default Bolt pattern?

The GTO shares the same bolt pattern as the f-body correct? I planned on using the Gto spare wheels (not temp.tire) for some front runners. They don't seem to fit all the way up to the rotor. Thanks.

No it's not the same. The GTO uses 5x120 its not exactly the same as the 5x 4.75 used by the f-body. The 5x120 is 1/2 mm off. The GTO, G8 and new Camaro are the same ... as are some BMWs.

They aren't the same but they bolt right up with no problems. Just have to watch the hub. My GTO's wheels had to be dremeled to fit on a T/A. Once that was done, no problems. My WS6 wheels bolted right up to the back with no problems. They were pretty much perfect offset also. But they wouldn't work up front.

Ive ran 02 v6 camaro wheels on the rear at the track and they bolted right up so IDK.... Ive only used a set for the rear so if they dont fit the front IDK... I assumed if they fit for me in the rear they would be the same 4 way round.....

16" wheels should fit with no problems all the way around. The 17" wheels only fit in the back. The offset will hit the strut in the front. I had pictures of mine with my WS6 wheels on but can't find them anymore. With the wheels on the front, you couldn't even move the car it was so bad.

There was a guy on LS1GTO that had two of his WS6 wheels narrowed to 8" and he had no problems with them on the front.

5x120mm for the GTO/ G8, Bimmers - 5x120.65 (4.75") for the standard small GM bolt pattern. The difference is infantessimal, but some people will tell you that you are taking your life in your own hands by swapping them out. Really the backspacing is what you have to look out for.

Thanks, I was asking because I got a set of you guys(04-06 gto) spares for front runners on my T/A. With new rubber of course. I tried mounting one and it didn't seem like it wanted to fit right?

Dremel the wheels. Just takes a couple of minutes and they will bolt right on.

Center(hub) of the wheels. Doesn't take much to get it to work.

Yeah for some reason the 5x4.75 will work on the gto with right offset but our wheels have to be dremeled to fit camaro/ta guys. I have been running my 15x3.5 & 15x8 5x4.75 draglites for a while never had any problems. Its just like using wrenches and sockets. For example the 10mm and 3/8" are close but not exact.

So, just open up the hub hole and the lug holes a little in each one?

The wheels will indeed "bolt up", however, the conical face of the lugnut will not mate properly with the corresponding conical seat in the wheel. The lugnut will be making a line contact instead of a face contact when using the 5x4.75" wheel on a 5x120mm hub (and vice versa). Basically, you'll be creating a stress concentration and increasing the likelihood of bending or otherwise breaking the lug, which is something you don't want to have happen.

Use at your own risk.
