Default GTO owners thinking about going turbo

Virginia Speed is currently looking for a 2005-6 GTO to design and build a twin turbo kit. This kit will include ALL top quality products.Precision turbo turbos and intercooler,Tial wastegates and bov, stainless hot side parts and alum cold side. All parts for turbo kit as well as fuel system, labor and tuning will be included. You will only pay for the cost of parts only-this will be $7500.00.

The downside-we will need the car for 1-2 months in order to design and build the parts+time to build jigs for production of the kits.

Anybody interested please pm me or call the shop at 757-468-5101

Thanks,

Shawn

Make sure you design it to work with 04s as well. If I have to change out the radiator its no big deal. BTW its about time someone that does quality work is doing this. I'm assuming they're going to be front mounted turbos?

by frt mount i assume you mean up by the radiator.yes that is the plan-even though you gain some underhood heat with this, you get rid of the problems associated with having to pump the oil from the turbos

So why would someone give you their car for months, to help you develop the kit, and then pay $7500 when they could just buy any other FI setup and a fuel system for the same cost and not be without their car for months?

I am going to ask this quesiton because I work in sales and because this is the type of question I know I would hear if I was doing something like this.

What makes your twin front mount turbo setup better than a GenTT kits? (I use them as an example because they are the only front mount kit I can think of at the moment). That benefits would a GTO owner have with your setup, over the previously mentioned kit? Will you be building custom manifolds, or using the stock cast iron manifolds? Do you have a hp/tq goal with this kit?

From what I can tell and looking at the prices of new TT kits, this actually is pretty close to right on in price and would be a great deal asside from not having the car for a couple months. If I could afford such a price, I'd do it because I don't drive my car once it cools off and the snow starts falling here.

I don't know-i have never looked at one of their kits-i can tell you this.We use only top quality parts in out kits-tubular manifolds built from 304 stainless steel along with the rest of the hot parts-Precision Turbos-Precision/Garrett intercooler cores-Tial wastegates and Bov's.

Sounds like it's going to be a great setup. Wish I had the funds to do it. I would need a payment plan...lol

I would like to give you a big **** you from all of us 2004 guys that already have fuel systems. BTW, good luck on the project. More quality turbo options are always appreciated, even if they don't apply to my specific year model.

Exactly what I was gonna say. And I have a 416ci VS shortblock that I love. Was gonna say I'd be a good candidate but not for $7500

Gotta pay me that much to have my car for 2 months!

so much negativity. $7500 for what they are promising is a great price. If you think 7500 to much money no one is forcing you to do sign up for this.

I think its great to someone is developing a new twin turbo setup for a car that hasnt been in production for 3 years. Good luck with the project I will definitely be following your progress.

7500 installed is a steal. Decent turbo kit or FI setup installed is double that price easy...

I gotta warn you guys, the GTO's vary greatly from car to car. Engine placement changes from car to car, some sit a little further left, some right, some back..
I've had to make driveshafts an inch shorter due to build differences.

This is a pretty damn good deal. Lets do the numbers for the retards here.

Turbo's 1200-1500 each. X2
Westgates 150-200 each X2
BOV 150-200 each X2
Intercooler 300.00
Install 1500-1800
Tune 550-650
Fuel system. Pump injectors misc $700.00

Your at $6K-$7k right there. Still have to get all material for headers and intercooler piping plus all clamps and silicone.

You people get your heads out of your asses please! And fyi GenTT does not have a year warranty on there turbo's and there internally west-gated which means good luck at upgrading at a later date.
