Default Procharged 2006 GOAT

Hey guys I am new to this board and an excited to be a future GTO owner. I am flying out to Texas to pick up my 06 Procharged GTO on Saturday can not wait!!! I just have a couple quick questions.

1. I am thinking about running cutouts and was not sure if there were any cons to running them? Ie..... NO back pressure problems? The car is stock besides the Procharger so, I would like to do long tubes with cutouts and stock exhaust.

2. I have done allot of research and was just wondering if there were any tricks/tips from any of you I should look into?

Thanks guys

Tom

Yes that's what the owner said, Procharger stock everything else wich I thought was weird???

It does have a boost gauge as well but I wouldn't consider that a performance mod.

Also what kind of numbers do you think that would put down rwhp? I would guess 440... that sound right?

LOL.
How much boost is it running with no supporting mods? Wouldn't it be pretty lean?

He said about 7lbs claims it made 480rwhp but haven't seen a dyno sheet.

I made 397rwhp @ 5.5lb stock besides the procharger on a ls1 so 450-470 sounds about right
