Those headers look like they are for a Monaro .... would I have to do the RHD conversion?

No these are directly for the GTO. They will fit on your American car with no issues.

so they have tested them on the saudi cars or acctually the GTO's .... the headers look like they are split and designed for the aussie location of the steering shaft.

They do look like the RHD version but then who is to say that they need a differrent version for the left hand drive cars. The space on the steer box side might be different, Have used these on a stock motor work really well low to mid range.

They are built for the GTO not the right hand cars. They are a Try-Y design and are split for ease of instalation. Don`t know exact hp #`s but headers on an LS1 have been good for 20-30hp over the stock manifolds.

This is the LHD HSV GTO

Got some dyno graphs? What about Cat/ORP options?

No they are for the American GTO. They are pretty simple setups would be easy to add the cats or just a short offroad pipe to the cat back.

I just looked at the installed picture and that makes more sense. The first picture looked like only 1 side (our passanger side) got a tri y setup. but in the installed picture both sides had the tri y. you will definatly need to do something to get by the drive side steering assembly. do you need to drop the rack to install them and can this be done without a lift?

Default Pacemaker Tri-Y (LHD Version)

Hi Guys,

I have a LHD "Lumina" (sedan version) and have had these headers (HPC coated 1-5/8" version) fitted to my car for over 18 months.

The rack has to come off to fit them, and a couple of heatshields need fitting to the rack, between the headers and the rack boots to stop the rubber being burned.

They clear the steering with no problems.
They are not the same as RHD version.

The bulkhead-to-chassis rail stiffener plate bolt HEADS where they screw on the chassis rail, on the LHS of the car (steering side) need to be trimmed off to stop rubbing against the headers when the engine moves under torque reaction.
They along with a 2.5" twin system wake the car up enormously.
With a PCM re-tune I gained 55rwhp. With power increase throughout the whole rpm range.

The steering coupler needs to come out but the rack can stay. They take only about 3 hours to install. I will get some dyno`s of the intake, headers and exhaust soon.

The one pictured uses the stock cats you could add any cat you wanted. It is real simple to add between the cat back and headers.

No the one in the pcture is not stock but you can easily add the stock cats in.

"The rack has to come off to fit them, and a couple of heatshields need fitting to the rack, between the headers and the rack boots to stop the rubber being burned."

The rack does not need to be removed and the headers include the needed heat shields. There is also no need to grind any bolts on the GTO.

Nice product there Nasty. Two things before I consider a purchase. 1 - Dyno results before the headers are installed and a dyno run after. I would like to know the possible horsepower results from the headers. 2 - A sound clip of the GTO before the headers and a sound clip after the headers are installed. I know a sound clip doesn't do it justice through a computer but at least it'll give me an idea on the sound difference between stock and the aftermarket headers. If I like what I see and hear, then you'll have a customer. Thank You.

I'd really be interested in some dyno numbers as well. Specifically I would like to see a comparison from stock everything, cat-back vs stock exhaust on headers and manifolds, and headers vs stock manifolds on stock exhaust. I'm very interested if the numbers are there. Thanks.

Dave

I have not got any dynoes here as of yet I have the company in Australia has done the testing of these. They have seen between 17-25rwhp fot the headers alone.

Yes We can get them to you in the middle east.
