Hood for sale, asking $850 o/b/o.

Paint code WA687F

It was just painted, not more than a year ago. Like New condition.

Local pick up only, I can box it, if buyer arranges shipping.

Thanks for looking

They only made this model only in 2005 and 2006.

Also, Pontiac is now out of business and last I checked the hood was going for $2500 (unpainted)at GM. So it's rare to find this hood, damage free and painted ready to go.

Are you interested in buying it?

I'm just trying to sell a hood that took me a long time to find.
Bottom line, with the price and condition, it's rare to find.

This is simple supply and demand.
I suppose it could be MORE RARE if it was also dipped in gold.

And the ULTRA RARE 04 comment would be correct, but there is no demand for it.

Also yes, It would seem this is turning into a joke.

To anyone interested in buying the hood, which is the ONLY reason for posting this, contact me

Thanks

Brand new hood from GM is 1800 bucks. This is a good deal if local and it matches your car. I went with a VFN hood after a tree fell and crushed the front of my car.

Maybe it depends on location, but I just called GM. $2300 for the hood and about $160 in tax. Anyone is free to call and check.

Either way $1800 plus having it painted its gonna be 3x more expensive.

Still a RARE to find.

BoostedLT5 are you interested in buying?

Its all semantics... Either way, not a bad deal.

Where are you located? Assuming NJ based on the license plate in the pic.

Maybe this would be better in the GTO Classifieds section instead of the discussion section?

It might become a lot more rare by 2017 when GM shuts down Holden manufacturing and their suppliers/parts operation all goes with it.

That's when getting new OEM GTO, G8, Caprice and SS parts will become interesting.

how long are parts made after a vehicle or brand is discontinued if at all?
