Default HCI ls1 m6 first time at the track

Took the Gto out over the weekend, Best 11.75@116.39 on motor,(bad 60ft) and 10.68@ 126.89 on 100hp shot. Pretty happy with the car so far.

Thanks, and 1.52 on spray and best on motor was 1.66 the 11.75 pass was 1.74. Car needs 3.91s bad.

If you would be so kind as to divulge, what is your rear tire and rear suspension set up.

Rear tires are M/T 26-10-15s, suspension is stock other than, drag rear springs, slp rear sway bar, and the diff bushing. Car hooks great!

Very nice, that gives me hope. I just picked up a set a jegs prostars and am looking to throw the m/t et drag 26x10x15's on the back. hopefully i can improve upon my 1.68 60ft, but that was with nto5r's.

You will be very happy with the M/t, I had nittos on the car before the change. Went from spinning into 3rd to died hooking on a 4k launch.

Good to hear, I know its needed bad. ms4 cam doesn't make any power down low and these heavy cars don't help matters.

New cam,lifters,timing chain,oil pump, track day tomorrow, Dyno 448wrhp 399rwtq Saturday. afr was 12.5 on the dyno, lean out the tune feels stronger than ever!!

That's impressive, I cammed a friends M6 GTO earlier this year.
Best I could get out of it is 12.3xx @ 114 with 1.7 60'.

What head and cam setup are you running now? I've been looking at Ai since i have a pair of 5.3 heads laying around.

Thanks guys heads are prc 2.5 799s, and cam is more street friendly now, custom grind, 233-239 .617-.624 112. honestly not sure what rpm in 4th ill check tonight but I know it not very high with 3.46s

11.76@ 116.59, next pass broke the right rear axle stub, time for 3.91 and a few other upgrades
