A4 GTO vs. 96-98 Mustang GT ?
Who do you think would win?
Not that I'd ever engage in a friendly little stoplight romp on public streets, but it might have happened somewhere
Verdict -- I'm not really sure he was racing, he fell back quite fast.

no, not '96-'98s....they suck! need the '99+ PI heads and intake then they aren't too bad, w/gears and full exhaust they can run deep into the 13s. '96-'98 COBRAs aren't too shabby tho!

Apparently this particular guy put his cash into appearance .. He had a new wing on the back, and a cowl hood.. Car sounded stock.. I seriously put about 4 cars on him by the top of 1st gear (I'm an A4). Let the tires squawk into 2nd gear and backed off it (45mph speed limit, after the shift I'm right on 60mph).

my friend just bought an 05 mustang GT and once we are both broke in and have some miles on the car we might just have to take along the digital camera and do a lil comparison

Speaking of 96to98 GT's. Did anyone see the latest bolt-on on Joe@Horsepower TV's Mustang(Nightmare). Previous best RWP on his 9lb. supercharged GT was 286. He added a smaller pulley(never said if it changed boost level) and an aftercooler. and went to 303(I believe). Not saying that Horsepower TV is the most reliable place for info, but I believe based on other results it fairly accurate.

96-98 Cobras were nowhere near being dogs.....my 97 in bone stock form down to the paper filter went 13.7@103. From what I hear our goats aren't much faster, and the goat has a bigger powerplant and weigh just about the same.
