Well I took delivery of my GTO this past week only to have my demo cd already jammed in the cd changer. Long story short, I took it to the dealer and they said that it would be at least a month until I receive a new cd player. They said it was on national backorder. This sound valid?

not according to my dealership, my radio just crapped out, wont work. Looks like its fine, but no sound coming out. They ordered me a new radio and said itd be here in 4-5 days.

that would be a judgement call, this dealership im dealing w/ are definitely not brain surgeons. whether ill have a radio in 4 days, who knows. At least im gettin my flows on this week, give me something to listen too.

I got 2 with mine, just tells you about different stuff on the car, one of which ironicly is how to use the radio

I bought my GTO about two weeks ago and it had two cds jammed in it when I got it. I took a junk cd and gently wiggled it in the slot while I was pushing the load and eject buttons and the cds unjammed. It took a little while but it is working fine now. It's worth a try. Hope this helps.

welp, called today to check the status of my 4-5 days till new radio came in. They informed me of the National Backorder, over 700 faulty radios that need to be replaced are on order, and the guy says it will be 4-6 weeks before my new one comes in.

I wonder if Pontiac will step up to the plate and issued a TB for these damn failing radios
