Hey guys, I'm debating whether or not to get a new 2005 GTO or wait till they come out with a 2006. I know that there are those two new colors, but besides that, are there any differences?

i think the differences are just cosmetics, same engine, same trannie, different pcm for what i've read,but don't take me for granted, i've been driving this car for only 1 week, so i'm still learning about it
and the the 2006 model is out already

Different taillights, an extra power socket, faster moving front seats, and lighted steering wheel controls....

I just checked one out and the seat is exactly the same. It doesn't move any faster than the 04/05. Other than that, just what he said.

I do believe there is a door lock button on the 06 by the TC switch, none on the 04-05

Does anyone know when they are going to have that displacement on demand avaliable to the vets/gtos?

I think 2006 is the last year of the GTO. At least this body style. So it isn't likely to happen for awhile. The Vette usually gets newer tech first, as is the way with the GM. However, as far as I know there isn't any plans to add that to the Corvette.
