Default Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Tire

I am thinking about buying a set of these tires to use at the track. They are 275/40R17. Does anyone know if they rub the rear finder? And does anyone have stock 17" wheels?

well, im not 100%, but from what im told, the only 275/40/17s that fit on the stock rims are the nittos. i have a set of the street 555 nittos in a 275 size and they fit, but my fender needs to be rolled. they rub, but only when i have a full load of people or stuff in the trunk or i take a speed bump WAYYY too fast. but once again, i cant be 100% about the other brands fitting or not

They rub on my GTO but I have the MTs on 9.5" ROH wheels. Others have said that on the stock wheels 275/40 MTs do not rub.

I daily drive on BFG DRs 275/40/17s and I had my fenders rolled. With the stock springs they would rub slightly on a hard launch at the track. I got Pedders Springs and Konis and now it is rock solid,,no more bounciness from the rear. Pulls 1.60 60fts on the DRs.

They will definately rub. You will have to roll the fenders for sure.

ive got those on my stockers.

I took a grinder to the inner fender a little bit, and i've got BMR drag bags to help eliminate any chance of rubbing
