GTO...Technical Question... Plz HELP!
I’m getting a warning message on my Dash Computer reading (Reduce Power) then (Safety mode) that’s after few days of installing my Super Charger, and the car dies... I have to switch it off then on again and it would go back to normal... any Idea ???

LS2 with ETC? If so, sounds like the throttle pedal assembly. It's common for the sensor there to whack out and put you in Safety Mode.
EDIT - I see you are in Dubai, so I guess the odds are against you having ETC since you are more than likely sporting a LS1.

HRJ got that one. But, I believe you have the LS2. I have never seen a cable operated throttle operated car/truck to ever have that code come up.
Bring it to the dealer.
Bring it to the dealer.

We have quite a few customers from that area
The last few years did have a drive-by-wire LS1 just like the Holden's did. I believe Holden called it "LS1+" or something to that effect.

Thanx guys...
Well... I’m running an LS1 and my SC is a magna by PWR from Australia, they came all the way to Dubai to install it for me, and my tune is a costumed tune... it didn’t happen to me only after few days of installing the SC.

sounds like they didn't install the maf patch in the tune. That raises the max hz of the maf, otherwise with a blower it will peg it and go immediately into safe mode. There are also a couple of other things in the tune as far as dtc's and scales that need to be done or it will do the same thing.
Sounds like a simple fix in the tune, problem being whomever did your tune doesn't know to do it.

That's what i got from my Tuner (the safety mode thing is more than likely an airflow code being tripped. This is no safety issue just a pain when it doe!! I can most likely turn of the code that it is tripping to stop the safety mode but you should have The Dealer put the "Tech 2 scanner" on your car to get the trouble codes.
That way they can E-mail me the code's , I turn them off in the calibration and I send you a new computer.)
I hope this will work...
