Why are you constantly starting threads just to see if people will say ridiculous stuff? I see no other reason why you would even care about anyone's opinions unless you simply wanted to ruffle some feathers.
FWIW, I pick the Cobra. I don't care what those GTO guys say, the Cobra is faster, and always will be mod for mod. Who cares if it has a blower, it's still 281 cubes vs 364.

stock for stock I would say drivers race. Put a pulley swap and tune the Cobra, its going to take a bit of mods for the GTO. Put a whipple on the Cobra, its just going to be nasty. Not impossible ofcourse, but its going to take a nice heads/cam/intake plus bolt ons for the GTO to play with a pulley swapped, bolt on and tuned Cobra. Either that of a 150 shot. Whipple Cobra is going to take a lot more like an APS TT kit or some sort of FI, prolly lower compression heads, maybe a cam as well.

build quality and interior go to the GTO.
supercharger is a plus for the Cobra.
both have excellent HP potential, both good engines
Mustang styling is a bit more aggressive
both are heavy vehicles
GTO is cheaper
**** that you already knew. So why ask just to start trouble?
