How fast does an '05 M6 run in the 1/4? Some jackass I work with says his factory stock '05 M6 runs low 11's or 10's in the 1/4 mile on street tires.
I say it might run 12.8 at best with slicks and a good driver.
Any opinions on this?

the best I could do was 13.002 on a (outstanding) 1.85 60"
(with Borla Cat-Back and K&N filter)
there's a handfull of stock LS2 guys who've broken into the 12.9x range (but not many)

Drag Redials does make a different buddy...
i guess this "Jackass" friend of yours doesn't know **** 'bout cars... he got a Goat and he thinks it's the Fastest.. i Guess he did a 75% of a 1/4 mile at his house street...

You said '05 M6, right? Do you mean a 2005 BMW M6? Of course, why would you post that here, right? Even so, it'll run low 12's AT BEST on drag radials. Stock, they'll run anywhere from mid 12's to low 13's.

i hate people that over exaggerate our cars. true they are fast stock and even faster in a well driven pilots hands, but they are nothing compared to some of the bigger boys like a c6 z06 or bmw m6

yeah, this guys is a true knucklehead. I dont know what you have done to youre SS, but Id say make him put his money where his mouth is and meet him at the track so he can prove it to you, just make sure he dosnt have a bottle hidden in the trunk or something...." uhhh....I meant stock except for the 100 shot..." of course im not even sure that would put it in the 11s on street tires, definitely not 10s. the guys definitely sounds like a tool regardless.
