Having owned both a 02 A4 Z28, and currently a 06 GTO M6, they are obviously two different animals. The GTO will kill an F-body in the twisties, I pushed the GTO around turns at speeds i would never pushed the Camaro around in fear of losin it. I havent ran the GTO at a decent track yet, this real slick 1/8th mile around here i can get below a 9 cause i lose traction everytime, in the camaro, i only ran there when it was modded with headers and a converter and i couldnt get it below an 8.50 when at the 1/4 mile track it would run 7.90's through the 1/8th mile marker with those mods. when the Camaro was bone stock it ran 13.0's in the 1/4 cant remember what it did in the 1/8th. i will one day take the goat to the quarter mile track and see what i can get it to do, beacuse its a 6 speed i'll be suprised if i can best the camaro's times. on the interstate in the GTO i raced a friends 02 WS6 A4 car, got a lid, headers ORY, tune, he pulled me when we both hit the throttle but i reeled him in and passed him, pretty easily, and yes my GTO is still stock. The camaro got a LS2 403 swap and ran high 10's, it is easier to make a reliable drag car out of a F-body then a GTO, but the GTO is a much better road car then a F-body. I love them both, i miss my Camaro to death and wish i was able to keep it but the GTO is a better car all around then the Camaro stock for stock i think, both have advantages and disadvantages. After owning both i personally will take a stock 6.0L GTO over a stock F-body, if i had to choose between the two. The GTO may not have the looks of the F-body that most of us love but also to most of us looks is not the only thing that matters when buyin a car. The way the GTO drives compared to the F-body is why i choose it over the F-body. It handles way better and is safer in bad weather unlike the fish tail happy f-body, im sure all you f-body owners, like i have, have gone around a turn and went over some kind of bump and almost had the rear come around on you. Theres a few instances i remember if i hadnt had traction control in the camaro i would of spun out. In my perfect world, I'd have my 10 second Camaro back to bust asses on the track and my GTO would be my fun DD that could hold its own against most of the things it runs up on on the street, cant have everything though. I need to win the lottery lol...

I saw you're hoping for 9's with the new cage. 10.1@134 currently, correct?
