Default First PE of the year

Got some decent gopro videos and got a view you don't see often on a Fbody.

Engine seems to be cutting out after going around some of the turns then going WOT. You can hear the interruption in the exhaust note and I felt it in the car. Not 100% why that is. Car does not have Traction Control. Dun Dun Dun

I like the watts link view. Nice run.

Thanks a lot. I was happy how the view turned out. It may be my eyes, but it looks like the propeller mount bolt is twisting...and I made sure it was TIGHT.

I used red lock tight on mine and check it every 2-3 races but I also drive to my events on shitty MA roads. I've had a propeller bolt fall out once on the highway.

Good point. I think I have a rod end that is worn out. There is some play in one that I need to take the propeller and move it down to get the rod end. It keeps "popping" like it gets bound up due to the play.

I'll be sure to toss some red Loctite in there upon reassembly.

Awesome view, Ive been wanting to see something like that since the watts link became available for our cars. Ive been wanting to buy a gopro just for that.
What is the engine/exhaust setup on the car? Its sounds mean as hell.

Awesome video! and your Camaro sounds so sinister! what did you do to the go pro to avoid all the wind noise? Also how do you like that watts link? did you autoX before using it?

Thanks a lot. The view is quite interesting. Stock LT1 with LT's, catless midpipe and 12" glasspack before the tip.

I have an external mic hooked up to it and taped to the rear bumper. I placed it in an area that is not in direct wind when driving. I really like the Watts Link. The rear feels more planted and predictable. Plus the ability to raise or lower the rear roll center is nice to fine tune things to your driving style.

I'm not completely sold on the exhaust note. Still is not as smooth as I would like it to be in lower rpms in 2nd gear. It will do for now though. Higher rpms it sounds pretty good and mean.

awesome thanks for the tips! I'll be getting an external mic soon then! Wish I had the cash to drop on a watts link, but I think heads and cam will be coming before that.

Sorry to keep bugging you but what size tires are you running?
