Default Pic request koni sa's with stock springs on lower perch and heater hose mod

Ive searched and found a few threads with pics however most of these threads are old and many of the pics aren't able to be seen anymore. Thinking of going this route since it lowers the car some but also keeps it at a height where the crappy roads where i live shouldn't tear up my car.

Just looked at the pics of your car...looks much better then stock. I think the back being lowered about another 1/4 inch or so would be perfect but either way it's an improvement

Not that I know of, perhaps, ask Strano, it was one of his original setups.

FYI: LS1 rear spring isolators are 3/4 inch at the minimum edge, LT1 isolators are 1/2 at min area.

This exactly what I am looking at doing as well. So far I have the rear shocks in with the heater hose mod on the springs, and I got the front struts out of the car. Just as a reference with the heater hose mod done and nothing done to the front....I had 27.5" to fender well in rear and 27 in the front. I wasn't thinking and didn't measure anything before hand but I still intend on using the lower spring perch on the fronts.

It's done! Aside from one of the rear "on-car" adjustables being stuck. Aside from doing koni sports with stock springs and heater hose mod I also installed UMI solid sways on both ends as well. Let me just say like everyone else has....it is night and day difference! It's amazing, the suspension no longer makes me nervous. Problem now is the tires make me nervous haha. Corners and rides amazing, it's like owning a new car haha. Excuse the past winters layer of dust on it as this is the first one have had it out this year

I have seen mention of heater hose mod many times and cannot find a thread with what exactly it is or any pictures showing how to do it.

Edit: nevermind this dumbass. I found thensticky. It was hiding or something from my searches...

any body else with pics? I pretty much have my mind set on going this route as it gets rid of the 4x4 look but also still has decent ground clearance. My car as it currently sits has lots of wheel gap in the front, the back doesn't look as bad for some reason maybe cuz the rear tires are slightly taller.
