Default 2016 gt350

Anybody run one? Neighbor just bought one and has been in my ear to run them. I have a M6 02 TA. SNS Stage 3 Cam, TFS 220 heads, 92/92 set up, AR headers & OR y-pipe. All the other basic supporting bolt ons with a Pat G tune. Run to an S60 w/ 4.10s & 315 drag radials. Any opinions on how this may go down?
Stats seem to indicate that it would be a handful..maybe more than the old TA can handle.

Your car should be an easy mid 11 sec car and should trap pretty good. I think you'll pull him on a roll pretty good and if you can drive good, you should take him on a dig too. I honestly wouldn't worry about a bone stock one with your mods.

Haven't had it to the track yet so couldn't tell you ET or MPH. Did all the mods in one shot and have only put 500 miles since. Plan on getting to the track this summer but right now I need Noah's Ark to get out of the neighborhood. Car only has 25500 miles on it as is. Lol. That's how often it has been driven.

My buddy bought one this past winter and this season he has about 1,000 miles on it. He has not brought it to the track yet nor have I ran him yet but in time we will. I could be totally wrong but i think from a dig he will have his hands full with my car. From a roll I think he will pull me pretty good.

They're a lower mid 12 car around 118. Not slow but not fast

I didn't look at the 1/4 time for the GT350 but I think the 0-60 was around 4.3. That's pretty good. I am hoping when this damn rain stops and I get some more seat time in the TA I have now to get it out to the track and be in the 11.4 range. That's what I was hoping/expecting when I started the build anyway. Been pretty happy with how it pulls on the street so far.

If you can drive, should be your kill to lose.

Aint gonna lie and say that I'm Gods gift to cars but I fair okay more often then not. Generally when I've gotten whipped I felt like it was by a superiorly built car but I have met plenty of dudes that I definitely know are better drivers.
Anyway, it's gonna turn into a blood bath on my block. In the last 12 months my neighbors have bought an '08 Carrera (NA), a Scat Pack Challenger, and now the GT350 showed up 3 days ago. Then the guy on the next block down built an blown LS3 powered 280z that is damn nice. Sooooo much **** talking goes on in this cul-de-sac. Lol.

Yes it does... definitely not a pile of **** but not really what I would consider a street car either. It's definitely more of a dedicated race car.

Both of these.

You have pretty big cam ( is it standard or mild lobe?), but you have gears to get it where it needs to be. You also have some pretty nice heads and intake to support the cam. You didn't specify whether or not you had 1 3/4 or 1 7/8" headers, but arh are awesome headers/y pipe, and with Pat G tuning it, I don't see you trapping any less than 120mph. To be honest, you have a pretty good build. I think the cam is a little big, but if pat spec'd it, you're good. You should walk away from him, Pat knows his stuff.

Either way, anything can happen on the street, so get it on video since you started this thread lol. I'd also like to hear an idle clip of your car, I bet it sounds like sex

Win, lose, or draw it's all fun. On paper I would say you got him all day. Unless he's modded.
Just focus on what you are doing and don't pay any attention to him when it goes down, you will be OK.
And post up the results kill, or death

Standard lobe on the cam and 1 7/8 headers with magnaflow catback.

Here is a short walk around after I finished it.

Yeah, I gotcha on that. The car is definitely well done and the guy seemed pretty knowledgeable. I talked to him quite a bit as I was putting mine together in the garage. He built it himself. It looks the part, sound ridiculous, and runs like a bat out of hell. Really nice custom cage too. Certainly not a hack job.

Maybe it's the camera angle in that picture, but that GT350 looks like a boat next to that t/a. Wow.
