drag radials 275s

On drag radials, 88degrees outside
Stock run

Decking board works nice to help lift the back to disperse the weight on the aluminum.

Off with the hood

Bye bye radiator

Soak bolts in pb blast to try to prevent breaking a bolt in the head. It worked for me!

Old

Going with Ngk br7ef

Engine will remain SBE for now, also will stay stock heads and cam. Clutch is stock, tranny and diff are stock but it does have a Hoosier dte brace.
This is a complete baseline test for a stock car. I'm sure my clutch will slip, and I'm sure I will break things, but I'm testing it with this kit and will upgrade accordingly.

I'm happy for you, but aggravated as hell also, lol. I begged and PLEADED with them to make a C5 kit. By the time it's ready I've moved on to a C6Z...

Kit looks AWESOME I must say!! Hats off to Jon and crew for bringing it to fruition! Looks gorgeous!

New mounter mounts and pedestals

Old vs new

Lift the engine 2 -3" and you can pull the mounts right out. 13mm bolt and 18mm if I remember right

Old vs new

I zip tied the old heat wrap back on the new ones.

Clearance is close Clarence. Something has to change

Heat wrap and heat blanket to help protect the wires that's close

Better view

Divers side

Notice the heat wrap on the clutch metal braded hose.

More on the driver side

Heat shield from auto parts store

Huron supplied nice heat shield wrap for wires/hose.
Not sure where they are suppose to go but I used some here. I will buy more if it needed else where.
Losen the wires and just play around with them. This gave me plenty of room.

Yeah, you are right, but that motor mount doesn't see that much. It's on the cold side of the turbo, but not close enough to melt thanks for the point out though!
