I've posted about this car before as it is my favorite car. Car, was fast as always, and was holding court today at the track. Truly a man amongst boys, was running two classes.....and there wasn't a soul in attendance that had anything for him. He made an exhibition pass trying to get into the 7s, but the car was just too hot to do it. Still went an 8.20 @173.
Both Tytech LT1 cars are beasts. I think Desotos TA, that 3rd gen, and Chris' Z were/are all "7 second" capable LT1s but just none have run the number yet. It will happen soon though I bet.

Destitos car is easily 7 sec capable, I've spoke with him a couple times, he runs 1/8th mile x275 classes and hasn't had the time to do 1/4 mile.
It's an AFR headed 383....he told me the turbo size, but I'm not exactly sure. Want to say it's an 88mm. I asked him what's the best the car will do, but he declined to say exactly. And his reasoning made sense, he wasn't being a butthole and I respected his position. Let's just say, the car isn't anywhere near all in just yet. I got chills when he told me the car is good for 26psi.....but he was only running 14psi yesterday. And was still Running trains on everybody. From what he told me, and seeing the way the car ran a couple of times, he wouldn't say it.....but full tilt this is a 7 second car.
Not sure what it weighs. But i can tell you it's full weight + some. Full street trim, Ac, powersteering, stereo, heat....and no Lexan. This is not a race car. Could easily take your woman on a date in this car.
I learned on LS1Tech that AFR heads suck, and they are only for bench racers. He should swap those out for some ported stockers, should be good for like half a second!!!

I dare those same people to call this guy out for some big money action, since his heads are junk and all. Should be an easy win for them 😂😂
Yea, I think this pass was straight off the trailer with a cool motor and cooler outside temps. I think the car was so heat soaked by the time he made the exhibition pass, it just wouldn't go any faster.

3 passes in 40min or so will do that.....but it also proves the car isn't a hero pass only car
