Default LS Twin Turbo Oil Feed line - where to get?

I have a Vortec 4.8 LS gen III engine with twin turbo

and both turbos have failure of lube...

I'm using oil feed from the back of the block, where use to be the oil sensor.

could be this the miss lube problem in the turbos?

where you use to get oil feed line in the case of twin turbo?

I'm using a Improved oil cooler adapter...
could I use the 1/8 ports to feed oil to the turbos? 1 port to each turbo, right?

Oil sender port may be OK for pressure but may not
be engineered for flow (needs none beyond a pinhole).

On some blocks above the filter boss there is a blocked
off port for oil cooler options. Bigger truck blocks for
sure, seen it on my Camaro LS1, no idea about a 4.8
block but worth a check. Maybe use this and then put
the turbo oil through a cooler on the way back.

You can use the GM part 12551587 which is called oil filter adapter cover. It has a M12x1.5mm thread. This cover supplies filtered oil.

OR, if you really want solid oiling, tap into the oil galley right where the oil exits the oil pump, well ahead of those tiny winding passages the oil needs to squeeze through into and back out of the oil pan and filter. HOWEVER, it's not filtered so maybe setup a small remote filter just for the turbos.

Sorry, I listed the incorrect thread size for the oil pressure sending unit. It is 16 x 1.5mm, the oil filter adapter cover is 12x 1.5mm. You'll need to adapt if you use this.

I always feed my turbos from the old oil pressure sensor on back of block.

Single, twins, doesn't matter. Never had a single problem.
Are your feed fittings restricted?

Default Turbo Oil Feed

The Turbosupercharger was designed for low speed aircraft engines that operate @ 35 PSI oil pressure.
Most often I MUST restrict the Oil Flow to these units as do ALL OEMs.
The common restriction is .040" -.060" in size, each turbo.

Do you use a Water Cooled Center ?

I would NEVER feed from the Oil Pressure Port at the Top of Block.

This REASON is based on OEM Oil Pan Design, a passageway that is restrictive to the block oil flow could be taken "out of loop", when the turbo FEED is at the pan port.

Take the TIME to review turbo oil flow requirements, at low pressure, you will be surprised at the volume requirement.

My failure observation is more directed at the turbo return line size ?

Lance .
