The clutch and flywheel is still on the block also. I remove the wiper cowl and there is a ton of room.

I bet I could have left the bell housing on also, but I am not that brave to do by myself with the underside of the hood painted like this.

Did you leave the rad and condenser? I pulled engine with crank pulley and whole bell/clutch/trans at once with hood and cowl on. Tight but a relative non-event. I did pull the water pump, rad, and condenser though.

BTW pretty clean in there. My engine bay wants to be your engine bay when it grows up..

Put the Front end back together after the headlight resto and plexiglass mod.

Also snapped some pictures of my new coilovers

Here are some pictures of the headlights after polishing before I put the front end back together.

I leave the condenser and the compressor in the car and don't like tilting the engine. I have a lift and a trans jack so pulling it is a non issue.

Thanks. This car hasn't seen a damp road in at least 5-6 years. And it's not too hard to keep clean when you pull the motor every two years. Lol

Installed my pac15 iPod unit. Underwhelmed for sure. The lack of being able to preset playlists is annoying. But the sound quality is good and it's better than the clunky CD player. Good chance to stuff poly fill anywhere I could get it!

Where all did you put it, and did it make a noticeable difference?

Center console, under the rear seat and under the rear deck. I had a couple off and on squeaks/rattles that got under my skin so if I have to take a panel off it goes in. Currently we are rattle free. The arm rest and the tube thing on the back of it where the biggest offenders. The rear deck had a rattle when the bass hit.

Fixed my "always on" wipers with a cover from the salvage yard. It's nice to have them functional! LOL.

Continued twiddling my thumbs waiting for the thread I started before Christmas to be approved...

Perhaps if you were more active on the forum, and had more posts, you wouldn't need to get your thread approved? I don't think I ever had to get a thread approved.

Perhaps! I don't typically post unless I have something to add, though.

I think you have to be over 10 posts to post a topic

I don't think that's it. I had less than 10 when I started a thread in the parts feedback section of the main forum. Ill try to build more than 10 in the CTS-V section and try again. I doubt that's the solution, though. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's because the parts feedback and for sale sections don't actually go towards post count on the forum.

Last night I finished up the suede door swagger. I promise it is not purple, the lighting in the room made the suede look purple for some reason.
