Hey gang, I’m starting to buy parts for my turbo setup finally and wanted input from those in the know. Vehicle is 91 S-10 converted to full time awd with w/5.3 out of 06 Avalanche (cam, headers, tune, etc.) and built 4l70e/awd t-case from a tbss. Current cam is 219/224 .604/.609 115 LSA. Unknown rear/front gear ratio but based on driving I’m assuming 3.73/4.11 range.
Hoping for ~600awhp on (10-14 psi?) using 93 octane as there is no e85 available within 3-4 hours.
Here’s the list I’ve made and I’m hoping to get some input/thoughts/advice.
S400SX4 Turbo-75mm-T6-Twin Scroll-1.32 A/R (I’ve seen this a lot on the forum)
40mm Compgate
Turbo Smart 52mm race port
60lb injectors? Preferred brand?
A1000 w/boost referenced regulator
2 bar gm map
Cam I’m looking at is 226/231 .605"/.598" 113+4. Worth it?
Head studs w/ls9 gaskets
Biggest fmic I can fit (prefer not to use meth injection or air to water)
Truck manifolds? (space is tight especially on pass side with shock tower.
Plan is for turbo to sit pass side front with exhaust coming out pass fender)
2.5” crossover?
What spark plugs?
What converter? Will be mainly street driven and see the track occasionally. Looking at the Circle D GM 278mm HP 4L60 LS Torque Converter 2600-3200 stall.
I have a brand new iron front diff 7.25 ifs with 3.73s and I can’t decide if I want to change to 3.42’s or use 3.73’s. If I stick with 3.73s should I stick to a larger a/r like the 1.32 I’m looking at as I’m assuming it spool pretty quickly with 3.73s?
Any and all advice is much appreciated.
Sam

I agree with JoeNova on the housing, I think I'd want a T4 for your goals
No need for studs at that level, new stock bolts will work fine and are cheap.
2" or 2 1/4" crossover would work better in my opinion
Good info on spark plugs here - https://sites.google.com/site/sloppy...ls/spark-plugs

Agree as said above. 2.25 or 2.5" tube is plenty with room to grow.
Everyone uses the 60# Siemens Deka and are cake to tune.
Truck manifolds or any stock manifold will work fine based on what you can fit in the engine bay
Id run BR7EF non-projected tip plugs
Run a better torque converter like Yank or other, seen too many mixed reviews about the Circle D stuff.

Okay perfect. Thanks for the help guys. I'll start looking at t4 based turbos, different fuel pump setup, and yank converters. Other than that, it's time to buy some more parts.

Unfortunately no e85 remotely close (3-4 hours) so I'll be running 93. I found a decent price on a cell running twin 340s which from everything I read should be plenty for 60lb injectors and 600whp, so I think I'm gonna go that route. Check on the feed/return lines, I already have some layin around.
