It is a freaking monster. That TB came with the intake. I'm gonna try it, but if it doesn't clear the hood I'll get a thinner one. lol

Yeah someone laughed at my tile counter tops on Facebook lol. Told them I can't afford granite on a race car budget lmao. I was single when I bought my house. And truthfully I bought it because it had a new 50x30 shop with two 12'x 12' roll up doors. Priorities man.

Compression is 12.5:1. Looking to shift around 8k and spin it just a hair higher than that. It will mostly be on race gas this time as well, since I'm doing a very healthy shot of dry nitrous. Needs full race gas when spraying. No stand alone in this car. So I picked up a 54 gallon drum of Renegade 120N the other day.

The cowl has been cut all the way to the windshield and it has a 6" Sunoco cowl hood. If it still doesn't fit, I'll go with a thinner throttle body. Of that doesn't work, I'll cut the hood lol.

How much did that drum of fuel cost you?

Ever look in to Torco? Not the same as race gas but a half can to a tank would probably be more than enough for street, off the bottle stuff. I've tried it and it works. To what extent I'm not sure, but if you're borderline and/or getting slight knock on pump gas this will take you the extra step to be safe.

Nothing is gonna beat race gas, just thinking it must be expensive so if you put a decent amount of miles on the car......

Was only busting ***** about the toaster BTW.

I add Torco when i spray mine. on motor i can only run 26degrees of timing on motor so i add a can and get an extra couple degrees timing but dont pick up power so i use it as a safety margin when i spray 100 shot dry kit and pull 4 degrees timing.

I was really upset with them. I could even look at them when I was pulling them off the engine.

What did the Frankenstein 237s flow? I was looking at their sight and dont show flow numbers.which i know that numbers are not everything. I looked at TEAs sight on the 235s and those are impressive.

Not sure. Never had them flowed. Never cared to. Flow numbers have never been high on my list lol. They can vary so much from bench to bench.

I'm not sold on flow numbers alone. I know Frankenstein is an excellent porter so was just curious about it.

I don't think Frankenstein flows anything he does. Goes only by the dyno, and track numbers.

That way when an intake valve is open he can just send a guy down to scrape carbon off the pistons if necessary......

He done a friends sr20 heads for his big block and did not send a flow sheet. Thats what he told my buddy, dyno it and if they dont make the power you expect then we will talk.
615 made 1275 crank hp with an 1150 carb. Tried like craxy to find a 1500 ish carb as it wanted more carb . Would have tickled 1300 had he found it but very happy with the work.

Got the new wheels on with a set of old 28" slicks on the car. They look small on there. Pretty sure I'll go back with a 29" so it'll look right lol.
