Twin gt3582 billets on a 5.7?
Looking for some insight, I can’t find a single result on the billet gt3582 from VS Racing. Looking to run them on a bone stock ls1 trans am for about a month, then do cam and sTall for them. Any ideas what they will perform like? Lag? Max power? Thanks guys

61 compressor mated to a 63 turbine, .82 A.R. T3 is all I can find.
No real goals, just looking for a set that will have decently quick spool up, and won’t choke out a cammed 5.7 once I can it. 600whp would be great, maybe a little room to grow and I’d be tickled.
From qhat ive read on the cast wheel version, it would do all these things beautifully. But I can’t find Anything on billet versions

Excellent, I’d be tickled with insta spool and 600whp, if it has room to grow to 750-800 I’ll be very pleased.
I had plan to run 3” to the old 3” y pipe and then use the 3” exhaust out the back. But I will put a cutout on each pipe where the y merges under the car. Should work?

I’m on the smaller .63 T3 with the billet 64mm 10 blade compressors on the GT3582. Not sure which compressors VS uses on theirs. But these were $250 each shipped and you had an option on exh. housings. I’d suggest the larger .8X housing option.
My 5.3 (8.9:1 even) lights them off super quick. They are violent little suckers. Had to do all kinds of things to dumb them down on the initial “hit”. Super mild GM “hot cam” (Howards version) and 241 heads. I'd guess it's easily making around 600 crank at 15-16lbs. I run them without an IC as well.

all I know is they are .61 compressor and .63 on the turbine, and .082 A.R.
i hope they work well for me

Im putting them in a 99 t/a, 80e with stock stall for a few months, until work picks up and I’ll get a good converter. Stock cam for now.
Hoping with the aloppy “transbrake” mod I can make positive pressure on the stock stall.
planning the rev 9 intercooler setup how It’s shown. I suppose I should make a build thread

Try and make something bigger than 3inch happen, of get the cut outs. It will make a significant difference.

Just wanted to update this's case anyone searches these in the future.
Stock 80e stall, stock cam, 3.73 gears, I was able to build 1.5# of boost on a 2# WG Spring with 1800 rpm and 2 step foot brake. I'm not sure if that's all it's got or if the gates are opening. These things are going to be nuts.

Update for future people, made 680whp today on 19# @5500 and 10.0 afr, never got to make a full pull due to ripping a wastegate again. I think thinwould have peaked low 700’s on this pull.
19#, 14*, 2# Gate springs with 23# of dome pressure.
Mine are the gt3582 billet wheel with 61/64 and .82 ar, T3.
