Default Who has 30" tall slicks on their 4th gen?

Tried a search but couldn't find a real clear answer. I want to run a 30x9 Hoosier slick on my 15x10 prostars. Does anyone have real world experience with them on a trams am? My car is not tubbed, but I do have my quarter panel wheel lips rolled. Not sure if a 30" will clear

You will have to trim the rear bumper at the bottom corners as well as the qtr panels at the bottom corners. Width wise you will be fine.

We have 28-10.5 on our car. I think the problem you may have is the front lower inside by where the control arm mounts. We had to BFH that area to get enough clearance for them. I wanted to run a 29.5 but they wouldn't fit without some surgery. Everywhere else your fine other than you would have to trim like already stated for a 30. We didn't have to trim the bumper or quarter for the 28's. Just had to remove the bump stops and make a new piece to replace and shave the fender edge. Very simple. Lots of room now. If you do manage to pull it off I'm very interested. Please post it up.

I have run a 28x10.5 for the last 10 years. It's tight. I have already trimmed the bumper and the front part of the quarter panel. Also I have used a bfh to clearance my wheel wells.

I have ran a 29.5 MT slick. For me the adj lcas and some trimming of the plastic bumper made them fit pretty easily.

I ran 30x9 Hoosiers for quite awhile. But they were on 15x8's. Trimmed the bumper cover a little and clearanced the front wheel well just a little. Car sat really low which helped as well.

I don't think I do, I really wish I had some good pictures of that car! This was 15 years ago. If I happen to find some I'll post them up.

^^^^Dayum they are tight. I want to use bias instead of radials, so tire growth is a concern. My car makes 578 to the tires and I am going to run a 250-300 shot of N2O also. I'm not sure a 9" slick will hold with a stick car though.
