Default My new car and New build

Well after parting out my old 98 Z28 Turbo car I could leave it alone. I had to get back into the game. I funded my own shop. I hope to get it lined out and become a Sponsor on here soon. I just wanted to let everyone know how I was comming along. Keep up the good work on your builds.

Here it is a few pics of the car in my Sig.

2000 Z28
370ci 8.5:1
Ported 6.0L heads
Speed Inc TU1 cam
LS6 intake and TB
EFI Live/RR for tunning in 100% Real Time
TH400 w T-brake
Yank Billet 3000k stall
Cheeta shifter
Moser 9 inch w/3.25 gears
Some UMI suspension stuff...

The Turbo Setup: (Similar to before but with some Changes)
6.0L manifolds
2.5" charge pipes
3" Down pipe
3" Intercooler pipes
31x12x4 Intercooler
Turbonetics TC76MPS
Turbo Smart BOV
Turbo Smart WG

Keep an eye out in the for sale forums. This setup will be for sale soon. I want to step up to a bigger T6 88mm turbo.

I like it, looks you could retain A/C if you wanted to.

Looking fwd to track times you report.

The downpipe runs exactly where a/c compressor would be, no a/c. Also are you not worried about the ceramic coating holding up? If thats what it is, can't tell for sure by the pics.

Its VHT 2000 degree spray can Header coating. Not ceramic. I use it then wrap the pipes on my car. I dont ever drive in the rain and it always stays in side overnight. Its worked well for me many times over.

Got Me SOM: I just listed that Turbo setup for sale. Since all of you guys are doing these big cube/huge turbo builds I am gonign to do a T6 88mm setup just so I can keep up. The car has the right part for big HP, so I am going to push it.

I really like the car man, my goal is to build something similar yet still be on the street.

Have you used that RR tuning software yet?

Appreciate it Jer. Alot of my old Ford customers urged me to do this. I have put alot of thought into the setup and the routing of the pipe s along with the components. Once everything is lined out I want to get sponsored here on Tech.

Get Me SOM: This is my street car . I havent gotten around to using the software yet. i used it on a friends car. it is awsesome. I swithed from HPTuners to the EFI Live/RR software the day I used my buddies.

Yeah I moved into a small 1200sqft shop. The Z06 wheels made it to a buddies car. They stayed local. I am glad to hear the 1LE is coming along nicely.

Get Me SOM: I cant wait to tune the car with the RR. It will amek all the difference in the world. EFI Live is getting ready to release Closed Loop auto tune with WB feed Back also. That will make tunning that much easier.

I appreciate all the props guys. I hope to have everything lined out and ready to go with in a month or so to luanch here on Tech. I am sure you guys will like the setup and pricing. Just got to get everything finished up.

Good luck with everything, looks pretty nice. Your old car was very nicely done as well. I may even try one of your kits with the 88 down the road, save me a lot of time. I dont mind welding but I hate making the pipes, makes a mess in a small garage

How long before you get this one running, BG is open early this year

Depends on how quick the mock up kit in the pics sells. I have nearly everything but a drive shaft to finish the car. If it doesnt sell soon I will use it. I am almost 90% sure a T4 PT88 will fit as the kit is with no mods other than a bigger down pipe. I may go that route too.

T4 PT88 should do well on a smaller cube motor.

I couldnt do all that without making at least a few passes on it just to see how it works

Been working my butt off. Got my shifter and console finished. I started taking the factory rear out to make room for the 9 inch. Should have it wrapped 90% up by tomarrow night along with the NastyN8 fuel system. I still have to fab up the exhaust from the DP back. Gonna be a simple 3 inch run to a Bullet muffler near the axle. I still have to measure and buy a drive shaft too. I have alot of work ahead of me.

I am giving the mock up kit sunday to sell or it is going on the car. I want to get it running soon. I have alot of tunning to do before the track opens which is real soon.
