87 camaro, 383 small block (factory roller block) 225 shot of nitrous, fuel pump is going bad, it lays down about 8-900 ft you can see the nose drop, and the mph, the time slip says 120 , the board said 128?

can i get in the 9 sec club with that?

afr 220's, fed by a holley strip dominator intake, that has alot of time in it making it have the same size ports in all 4 corners what a crappy casting, one of the guys i work with said the kieth dorton one is just as bad, has a 750 d\p that i built , i think the only holley part is the throttle plate itself, the screws and the bowls, the rest is aftermarket. its a little small for the engine, but thats actually intentional but it will run mid tens off the bottle

If you have some spare money call Chuck Nuytten in TX for a custom carb. I have been using his carbs for a long time and I actually run a 1050 dominator on a 422 ci. SBC. he build custom to my application. Throtle responce is better than an EFI car and we dyno'ed with an A/F meter and it was dead on 12.5 all the way thru the run.

im trying a therory , and it seems to work good, alot of people say its better to run too small a carb for nitrous then too large, going by the times on engine, about 530 hp, with a 225 shot about 875, i just cant argue those results.

I heard go bigger since you are adding instant atmosphere into the intake tract. Going from a 850cfm carb to the 1050 really picked up my et. The friend that bought my 850 picked up .40 on his 383 S-10. Just some food for thought if your looking to go faster.

11.56@126? You should run a lot faster than that with the mph you're putting down on the motor.

10.0@133, what was your 60ft about 1.40?

What suspension stuff are you running?

um arent the super comps 1 3\4? i have super comps and they are 1 3\4 I am thinking about building a 2" set with stahl flanges but that will be after i figure out the launch problems, those heads will be too big for what you have now, and you wont use anywhere near what that head is capable of, the 215 head will be better or maybe the 195 eliminator, that thing flows realy well for its size, and doesnt require all the funky valve train parts that the 227's use

on motor right now, it has run 10.67 extreamely consistant (within a few thousandths) with identical 1/8 miles speed and time, down to the thousandth, wind might have changed a little, but it may have been running out of fuel then, fuel pump volume was way lower than what it needs. also i have a small carb on it, also the headers are a little small, alot too small on spray. I may swith throttle plates to 850 size plates, but for now i cant leave on all i have so why make more?

Thats getting it does as well! Mine has been 10.89 with a best of 126 mph on motor. 9.97 on a 200 shot. Im running AFR 210s outta the box, victor jr, and AED 950. 1 3/4 supercomp headers. My cam is hurting me.It was set up for fuel injection so its on a 112 cl. Need to change to a Super victor,a carb friendly cam and 1 7/8 headers. Ed quay supposedly make nice 1 7/8 headers for our cars for around $600.00. I cant complain this is all done thru Summit 3 inch turbo mufflers driven to the track usually with just 3.73s and 3575lb race weight lol. Ive seen your posts on thirdgen.org, just wanted to give you some props. Fast 3rdgen!

with the 112 c/l it should like nitrous, spray it more lol
I have 2 3" bullet mufflers under there, and an x pipe. I will wait untill i get this wheely thing sorted to get or build larger headers, i will probably go 2 inch, that would basically require a tubular k member, that would remove weight from the front and i dont need to do that now lol.
stock 12secz nice looking car by the way
