not quite the same setup. he's using a motorplate instead of regular motor mounts which eliminates most of the header problems. my question is which is the easiest set of headers to mod to fit?

I am building a 94 with a SB Chevy. I am using motorplates but i know most people use the AJE K Member. I just wanted the extra room for the headers. I have seen headers for sale on racing junk...but they are expensive.
I am going to try a few sets of headers I have lying around and maybe modify them...but if that doesn't work I will make a set.

he's already seen it. he said he wants to use motor mounts rather than mid plates, and my headers are being fabbed. i never looked into what would be a more direct fit because i was initially going to do a twin turbo setup. so, now i'm having a set of headers off an 18* headed sbc out of a '71 Chevelle reworked. 1 tube on the pass. side and 3 tubes on the drivers side need to be redone. i also needed 1 7/8" primaries and there's not a lot of those out there to begin with to my knowledge.

I know people have done small block swaps, but what about a BBC? I'm wondering if anybody knows on any headers that will work, or will at least be close. The K-member issue has already been resolved. I've got a '00 GT, and I've got a big block. The two look they need each other. Any ideas?
