I'd say 450 hp at the flywheel. Run a good convertor (or manual) and a 3" exhaust to let it breathe, and with decent suspension you'll find the high 11s!

I'm gonna guess 475+. We recently dyno'd a 383 with a set of Pro Comp heads with some minor porting(so-so head), air gap intake, hyd flat cam 234-244 / .488 .510, 9.8-1, and it made 455.

Why such a small cam? Whats the lift come out to after the 1.6's? Have comp custom grind you a cam for your heads and application. Those new heads flow quite a bit, with a diiferent cam you would be well over 500.

I would suggest picking a hyd roller a little bigger. I assume this is for street driving. I would look at something with low to high 230s @.050 and more lift to take advantage of those heads.

The reason is because its going to be street driven...and I dont wanna lose alot of vaccuum because of the duration, thats why im going with the 1.6 rockers do think I should bump up the cam one size?? but then im afraid im going to lose bottom end which I want for the street.

Thats the next size cam

That one will work better IMHO. I run 230 236 @.050 duration and have absolutely no problem with vacuum or power brakes. The extra cubes from a 350 help tame the cam. You wont lose any bottom end. I know I have plenty. So does my driveway

AFR did a dyno with the same setup but a 236/242 cam and 10.4 compression made 523 hp. So, I'm going to say about 440hp. The 218/224 is a mild for a 383...I have that cam right now and wish I would have went bigger.

I'll say 460 +/-15 hp at the flywheel. Torque about 450.
