Default cheapest 300 hp crate

I need a 300 hp crate 350. that is 300 give or take a few, but it must have some good torque in the lower rpms. its gonna be backed by a 5 speed in a jeep comanche pickup. anyone know of any Jasper factory replacement engines around that range? i need something thats going to cost me less than $3000 carb to pan.

Look in the street engines section of raing junk, alot of the stuff there thats in your price range is rebuilt but it would be pretty hard to get any brand new crate 350 for under 3k.

No problem. Jegs has the best crate engines to choose from. and you can build a complete 350 for 3k or less and get about 400hp, did it on mine, but you need a 350 start with, thats the problem.

Why not get the Deluxe 350 from summit?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...8&autoview=sku

Vortec heads + 9:1 + .435/.460 = 330 hp and 380 lb ft.

3695.95 carb to oil pan....just a suggestion.

I'd REALLY consider taking whytry up on his offer. You could get a 350 block CHEAP!

What's with buying GM parts from anywhere but SDPC?? We have THE BEST prices around on all of these engines. The 290hp setup in the Jegs link: we have everything in stock and could ship today for about $50 less! The 330hp engine in the Summit link: We have in stock for $25 less and it also could ship today!

OR: We could get you the either of those engines and do a simple cam swap to put you closer to the 400hp range! Shoot me a PM or e-mail and we'll get you pricing on whatever you're wanting. I will do whatever it takes to earn your business and make you happy!

Your going to hate me but have you thought about a 292 I6? Great tq down low and with a cam upgrade can get you around 250 to 280hp
