Curious why you kept the heater core/fan mounting flange on the firewall?

Yes this car was an original hoss hardtop.I didnt choose to cut it up the person I bought it from did.I think the heater flange was kept because of the original plan to have a factory firewall I was told that the car was changed several times during the build I bought it like this.

Oh, I guess orange is a special color option? I never cared about that stuff, I mean if someone likes a car and wants to make it a racer, rare or not I would put it under the knife

I'm thinking the VFN front end would be easier to remount than the flimsy stock fenders and nose, but I have those so they are free lol. I have the same habbit, I change my last car a lot when i was building it, you just see new stuff or get better ideas, it just happens.

How long do you think until you make your first pass? Also did you go with a power glide and how much stall are you running?

What stall are you going to run for the nitrous? 6,300 is up there what are you revving it to around 8,500?

Its nothing for a good BBC, my old 2 bolt main 468 with factory crank and rods was shifted at 7,000 RPM for years.

8k is is no problem for a good bottom end BBC.

Huger orange was only for the 1999 cars, not many made either.

Harder to find the vert cars. Its a nice color if you ask me.

A hoss hardtop is one of the hardest cars to find. Theres like 3 of them. Ive searched for a long time for one and couldnt find one. Looks badass tho. A friend did a bbc in a 4th gen. Ill have to see if i can get some pics. They didnt do anything crazy fancy.

LOL I hate you Brady... I'll never be able to afford a set up like that, BBC with the biggest pro charger they make, that thing is sick! How many inches is that thing?

BTW where did you get headers? I know big tube BBC stuff must be built, because I can't find any for a 4th gen with a bbc with a good size header.

Anyone else know of any disadvantages to mounting the carb sideways?

Keep those photos coming.
