I'm in the market for another R1 right now. Might have me one in time to make the meet.

LOL - Well then I guess we can take it to the mountains, where riders skill really matters. Any knuckle head can point a bike straight down the highway and twist the throttle

Is there going to be any female nekked'ness at this meet? I like nekked'ness.

Fixed it for ya.

And coming from a guy who builds sick cars with more power than they need to go fast in a straight line...

I just like going fast in a straight line... call me crazy... ?

On a side note, I've found several examples of bolt-on ZX-14s going bottom 9s, high 8s at over 155mph.... which is STUPID fast for a stock motor bike.... and damn near quick enough to whip anything off the road around here... even Hunter or that black Supra (let me see what I can get started with this statement.......)

True, but ZX14s are uglier than homemade dog ****. That's got to be the ugliest "sport" bike ever produced. JMO of course. I didn't think anybody could top the ugliness of the Busa. ZX14's are also big, sloppy, and HEAVY. I don't find them enjoyable to ride at all. I'll take the 15 less HP, and flickable/nimbleness of a liter bike.

I tend to agree with most of this...

Although, wouldn't the heavier bike be a little more comfortable to ride on long distances?

No such thing as a "comfortable" sport bike brother. That boils down to your tolerance

I've owned almost every make of liter bike minus the Kawi ZX10, and I've found the Yamaha's have always been the most comfortable. They come with a fairly cushy seat from the factory, and the riding position is decent enough for a full day ride without killing your back/wrists/knees. I'd put Honda's on the top of the list for being the least comfortable (1000RR, 600RR, RC51) and Suzuki's are somewhere in the middle. My GSXR1000 wasn't that bad to ride on all day long, and rode the **** out too.

HIJACK BITCHES.
