South Mississippi Theives!!!! Keep an eye out! Last night I had my Lincoln 110v Mig welder, Black and Decker grinder, palm sander, Skil Saw, and corded drill stolen from under my carport. I filed a police report this morning and spent the first part of the day notifying all the surrounding pawn shops. We have a couple leads on who it could be, but come to find out there are SEVERAL other guys in the area that have had various car related items stolen in the past month.
This is just a reminder to keep your stuff locked up tight, and keep a watchful eye out for others. Oh, and if someone you know happens to suddenly acquired said items, let me know.

Yeah, i just have an open carport right now. I'm thinking seriously about enclosing it before i continue with my car. The last thing i want to worry about if i'm on vacation is my car or parts getting stolen!

I have a build thread on here although it is currently going nowhere due to the stolen tools.
Several of those items sound exactly like what are missing. Think i might just pay them a visit tomorrow. Thanks!

summer time. everyone wants there cars looking good. Even Oxygen Thieves!!! fellow Deputy had his Cobra Rs stolen off his car, while it sat out for sale!! 17" 4 lug chrome, with Toyo tires if anyone hears anything! this happened 2 weekends ago.

I didn't even bother after i noticed the date the ad was posted was a couple days before my stuff went missing. It is probably someone else's stuff, but i'm not about to buy something i almost know is stolen.
Isn't that the truth!
I did find out that the same night several people that live down the road from me had car jacks, tires, etc. stolen. That almost rules out my suspicions that it was someone i know. In a way that makes me feel better though.

its not just south ms either.... its north ms too bud.
a week ago a real close friend of mine's parents split up so the dad decided it was time to get back into Mud racing (horseshoe track) brand new $30k+ BBC stolen from his shop only hours after it was delivered from the engine builders. not only that but car hauler, welding trailer, various tools, and prob a few more things he hasn't missed yet.
i caught my thief that was stealin gatorades and tools, and jacks and stuff w/ a Hunting
motion camera i bought at wal-mart... this is what i saw

still not enough evidence to have him locked up.. but after word got around that i had proof it was him and that i was looking for him.. my jacks, tools, and gas cans mysteriously showed up at the shop door

that sucks, sound about the same **** out here in the slidell area, do you plan to take it out to cruzin the coast in October?
